That kind of energy is prevelant in many "developed" countries at the moment, even here in Europe. It's like everyone is personified rage. People will be ready to throw insults and punches over the pettiest shit. These aren't good times for anxious empaths like myself ☹️

That kind of simmering rage seems to be everywhere right now.. and you’re right, it’s brutal on one's central nervous system.

I can handle the insults (or punches if it came to it), but here, we also have to worry about bullets.

And that changes all calculations. 🇺🇸🙃

Bullets are less prevelant here, that's true. We have knife crime/violence as opposed to gun violence...

My blood pressure started to escalate along with my sense of anxiety as you spoke.

I'm not scared of much....but road rage, combined with the climate of "Fuck you!" is a little terrifying.

When I drive home from my BF's house, I pass a massive banner hung on the side of a barn that reads "Trump 2024 - Fuck you and your feelings".

What used to feel like isolated anger now feels like the everyday norm.. and this administration just keeps pouring fuel on it.

That kind of “fuck you” energy isn’t just accepted anymore, it’s celebrated.

Hurts my soul.

I lived in Texas for a couple of years and was glad to get out! Funny you mentioned the "pistol" LOL! I had moved there from Canada and every time there was a "trafic thing" I thought gun! 🤣🤣🤣 for real!

I drive a 45 foot motorcoach and the things I have seen are mind blowing. I think we all need to have mandatory meditation and yoga! 🙏

And... trauma/inner-child work. I truly believe quick-triggered road rage is a consequence of people having so much tightly spooled anger and resentment and, for whatever reason, it comes 'firing' out behind the wheel.

Side note: I trust you know that there is a massive population of Americans who are appalled and humiliated by this administrations disrespect to our northern neighbors.

Thank you Adrian. Yes, I do.and thank you I also live in the USA however, I am currently in Canada and hiding my American-making sure I have added "eh" back into my vocabulary. (hehehe)

And yes, I strongly believe the education systems need to be revamped to include teaching our children how to work out their childhood in childhood. What a wonderful world it would be. Most today just need a great big hug and let them just release and let them know they are heard and loved.

And, then the food! Imagine if we all ate live food that was grown naturally from the ground and took in all of that live energy how differently we would be able to live, love and behave. Especially on the roads!

It must be hard to come from such countries back to the USA..and TEXAS 🤣🤣

Returning home always is a shock to my CNS but I do love getting to hug my people and dogs on the daily.

However, if they weren't here, I doubt I'd ever return.

I hate that. When I’m on the hwy and people are racing around no signals. I just want to honk. But I don’t. Like you said never know who will pull out a gun.

Driving here in Texas is definitely different. And it’s crazy that Texas is home to the world’s biggest freeway, The Katy Freeway. 26 lanes of traffic!?!? how are you supposed to navigate that in a peaceful frame of mind?

On one of my last drives before I sold my car and left the US (and driving!) behind was a sticker that read, “Live, laugh, love. If that doesn’t work: load, aim, fire.”

Are you guys going to drive in Holland?

Right? I definitely didn’t regret the choice to move in that moment.

I think I’ll start with a bicycle…they rule the roads here and there are trains for everywhere else!

Still be on the lookout!

I was standing next to a Canuck friend who got bamboozled by an older Dutch man on a bike in Vondel Park.

Had to get a dozen stitches in his right calf.

I can neither confirm or deny if there were copious amounts of mushrooms involved.

I’ve had to not honk when someone cuts me off when driving. For fear of someone shooting. Our whole world I think is on tilt. With people living from different countries in all countries different rules. This is the end of our cold time. Being closed in. We need the sunshine. And to breathe. Even weather and our earth all over is aggravated. We need prayers to whom ever you pray to for our World. Try saying something nice to anyone you come in contact with. Just a nod and smile is a start.

EXACTLY! There’s truth in the adage that you should be the change you want to see. If you traffic in misery and upset, you only find yourself mired down in it. Spreading positivity, light, and goodness ensures more of it comes your way.

Yes, totally KT.

Southeast Asia can be absolutel chaos. But there’s an underlying flow of acceptance/tolerance.

People aren’t sitting and waiting to aggressively pounce on each other for making a "wrong" move.

It’s less about control and more about coexistence. 🙏🏼
