Awesome! I've been wanting to make it out on a Sunday for the food! We were there for the service after one of my Thai friends lost his father. It's a beautiful place, for sure.
Adrian, what a wonder birthday dream come true. Your mother told me all about going into the Temple, seeing & hearing the Monks' chant. She loved how fresh and delicious the chicken on the stick was and said to me "we should go sometime"! So, that is a huge win and yes, I would love to go sometime. So very happy for you, your mother, Delaney and Ashlie all got to share this very special day with you, in your element!
I love it! Maybe you had a past life in Thailand and that's why you're so drawn to it. Although, from what you describe and the photographs you share, I can see how anyone would be. It's beautiful and the people seem so genuinely kind hearted. Happy birthday to you, Adrian!! I hope you have many more, living out your dreams and sharing them with the rest of us!! 🤗💙🙏🎂
Oh, and remember to get all your health screenings and make an appointment for your shingles vaccine!! 🧓😜
I've had a handful of Thai friends tell me that.. That I most likely lived a past life in that part of the world - and with the instant connection I've had since day one of arriving in Bangkok, 21 years ago now, I wouldn't bet against it.
Rude! (but you're right, I better make an appt.) 😆
Ahhh, dearest Adrian, this post made me so happy for you and your family. 1. I’m soooo jealously happy for you that you still have your Mama. 2. I’m so jealously happy for you that you have your sister. 3. I’m so jealously happy for you that you and your family are so close. And 4. I miss y’all so damn much and am so sad that I never got to see you again while I was in Texas. I wanted to come to Dallas so many times, but just could never make it. My mom couldn’t travel anymore. I wish so much that she and I could have come back home sooner than we did so that she could have enjoyed her Texas once more. The same way she did when she was younger. The same way I enjoyed it when I lived there in the eighties and nineties. And that she and I could have enveloped ourselves in the loving joy that is you and your extended family. You and they are the best part of us, and I thank you for allowing me to experience your travels and so much of your soul through this particular journey. Khob Khun Ka, Laura
PS Please say hello to and give your Mama a big squeeze for me. 🩷🩷🩷
Thank you for this, Laura. I know how much you miss your mom and I love hearing you keep her memory alive. Please know, you are welcome here anytime. My Dallas apartment is small, but the sofa is super big and comfy.
Thank you for always reading and reflecting with your warm love and support! ⚡️💙

Let me know when you make it out there, or we can just go for the real deal. 🤘🏼🇹🇭
Happy Birthday Adrian 🎂 🥳 🎉 🎈 🎁 🎊 🎂
Thank you, Kristin! 💙

Thanks, Diane! No doubt you would love it there - we'll swing by and pick you up the next time we go. 🙏🏼🇹🇭
The sounds, smells and tastes were on point 🇹🇭 If only it were 10 degrees hotter 😅 (and thankfully it wasn’t!). Beautiful day celebrating you 🎉
We got lucky that the temp and humidity were NOT on point! 😆
A Bangkok style birthday with Monks, fabulous authentic street food, Thai tea and family! Loved every minute of it!! 💥💜💙💥
Again, so extremely grateful you were able to see, hear, and feel how things went down during the service. An absolute gift for me (and you)! 🙏🏼🇹🇭
It truly was so special, Bubs. Perfect. 🥳
***The pang to go back to SE Asia is so real! 💙🇹🇭💚
Watching you get emotional brought back what a joy and honor it was to watch YOU soak it all in for the first time. 💙🙏🏼💚

Happy birthday to you—what a wonderful cosmically aligned celebration of all the good you cultivate in this world!
Definitely an epic, and cosmically aligned, birthday for me. Thank you, GF! 🇹🇭✨
