If you don’t wanna watch the video, here’s the heart of it:
One of my best friends in Phnom Penh is struggling.
No tourists means no income, and this Tuesday, his oldest daughter’s annual school tuition is due.
And this isn’t some elite private school. It’s just how the system works in Cambodia. Even the poorest of the poor have to pay to play—and if you can’t pay the teacher, your kid gets excluded from daily lessons and learning activities.
It’s a heartbreaking reality, but it’s the norm.
So if you’d be interested in helping one of my best Cambodian friends—and you’ve got $5 or $10 to spare—trust me when I say that you’re chipping in will go a long, long way.
If we’re able to hit the $250 goal—together, we will be giving little 8 year old Sannita the gift of staying in school.
